Here are a few of my favourite things...

With the dark, cold evenings of February it's easy to get a little down and want to stay hidden under the duvet. I thought I would write a really happy, shiny, sparkling post of happy things.

No real reason, just a happy list of happy things that make me happy.

1. The blessing of makeup

God forbid anyone ever discovers how we actually look.

2. Duvet days

There is nothing better than a day where you don't have any plans. It is also crucial that nothing exciting is going on with friends in the outside world, so there are no underlying feelings of guilty laziness or any uncomfortable FOMO. #Bliss

3. Cats

Because cats.

4. Netflix

5. Cheese

The ultimate happy place and comfort food. NOTHING beats a good cheese board, except perhaps a baked Camembert. Mmmmm...

6. Teapots

If you're going to collect something, it might as well be weird. Google "Teapots" and you'll find a magical range of bizarre designs. In my house, the teapot doubles as a gravy boat. Because why not?

7. 90s Music

The joy of catchy, embarrassing music from my youth will always make me burst into song - sober or drunk. No excuse necessary.

8. Snapchat filters

Nothing is more entertaining than turning your face into a dog, followed by a bearded man, followed by a greek godess. #Selfie

9. Cats.

Again.

Obvs.

10. Bubble baths

To clean out your soul. And your bum.
